Boston prepares for family friendly First Night celebration

BOSTON - Final preparations are in full swing in downtown Boston for the city’s First Night celebration, set for New Year's Eve on Tuesday. Vendors are busy setting up, with local favorites like Joshua's tornado fries, known for their unique spiral and seasoning, ready to serve the thousands expected to attend. The vibrant atmosphere promises a night of joy and community as people gather to bid farewell to the old year.

First Night is known for its diverse entertainment options, including ice sculptures, live music, and arts and crafts for children, culminating in two fireworks displays. The first is scheduled for 7 PM at Boston Common, catering to families who may not stay up until midnight.
