Green County man arrested, charged after possessing child sex abuse material, Kentucky State Police says

A Green County man has been arrested on multiple charges related to child sex abuse material. The investigation began when detectives from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office in Florida flagged authorities about a suspected individual attempting to obtain potentially harmful material.
The Kentucky State Police (KSP) quickly traced the IP address linked to the case to a residence in Green County. Following this lead, KSP detectives executed a search warrant at the home of 35-year-old Ian Douglas in Greensburg.
During the search, investigators found electronic devices containing sexually explicit images and videos of minors. Additionally, they discovered marijuana and various drug paraphernalia within the home.
As a result of these findings, Douglas was arrested on charges that include 20 counts of possessing materials depicting sexual performances of minors aged between 12 and 18. He is also facing charges for trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Douglas is currently being held at the Taylor County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
