Woman arrested for pointing gun at ex-husband during child custody dispute at varsity softball game in Texas, officials say

Hondo, Texas – A woman was arrested by the Hondo Police Department for allegedly brandishing a gun at her ex-husband during a custody dispute at a varsity softball game. The incident occurred on March 7 during a game between Hondo High School and Comfort High School.
Police were called to the scene after reports of a disturbance involving a weapon near the left outfield fence of the stadium. Upon arrival, authorities learned that the confrontation involved four individuals tied to a child custody argument.
According to reports, 30-year-old Elysia Quinn Klatt retrieved a firearm from her vehicle and pointed it at her ex-spouse. Fortunately, she was quickly disarmed by another male involved in the altercation, and no shots were fired during the incident.
Following the altercation, Klatt and the male left the premises, heading south on FM 462. The Medina County Sheriff's Office later located her and took her into custody.
Klatt now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a weapon in a prohibited area, and making terroristic threats against a family member.
