SHREVEPORT, La. - An argument took a violent turn early Sunday morning, resulting in one individual sustaining life-threatening injuries from a shooting. The incident occurred around 12:30 am in the 400 block of Braebrook Drive, situated in the Cherokee Park neighborhood.

According to the Shreveport Police Department, the confrontation involved four people inside a Jeep Renegade when gunfire erupted. This left one person with a gunshot wound, who was subsequently transported to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport for urgent medical attention.

As of now, police have reported that no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Investigations are ongoing as authorities gather more information about the incident.
