Aggravated Assault Leaves One Injured in Wilkes-Barre

An aggravated assault took place on Saturday at around 2:10 PM in Wilkes-Barre, specifically at 30 Hanover Street. The incident involved a confrontation between a male and a female.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered the male victim with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the female involved in the altercation was detained close to the parking lot at the site.

The State Police Forensics Unit was called in to secure the area, while the Wilkes-Barre Detective Division commenced its investigation with assistance from the Luzerne County Detective Division.
