South Toms River man accused of killing his wife Saturday night: authorities
A 38-year-old man from South Toms River, Gustavo Juarez-Perez, has been charged with the murder of his wife, Cheyanne Juarez, following an incident on Saturday night that left her unconscious with injuries. Authorities reported that a 911 call was made around 9:15 p.m. concerning an unconscious woman at a residence on Hummel Drive.
When police arrived, they found Cheyanne, aged 30, on the floor with blood on her face and a belt around her neck. Despite emergency lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding her death prompted a swift investigation involving multiple agencies, including the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, South Toms River police, and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office.
