Suspect outstanding after shooting in Phoenix leaves 1 dead

PHOENIX -- Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect following a deadly shooting in west Phoenix on Saturday afternoon. Officers responded to reports of the incident around 3:30 p.m. near 51st Avenue and Osborn Road, where they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Emergency services transported the victim to a hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving. The Phoenix Police Department has indicated that an altercation took place between the victim and the suspect prior to the shooting incident.

After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene in a getaway vehicle that remains unidentified. Additionally, the driver of the vehicle has not been located by authorities.

The police have initiated an ongoing investigation to gather more details about the incident and identify the suspect. As of now, no further information has been released to the public.
