Cheetos bags packed with meth sent to Indiana post office

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Earlier this month, detectives in Indiana investigated "suspicious packages" at a local parcel delivery facility that were suspected of containing narcotics. On March 5, a detective from the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force responded to the location and found around 40 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in Cheetos bags.
The detectives conducted surveillance on the scene and witnessed a white van arrive at the facility. Two individuals, identified as Natasha Renee Garner, 46, and Goldie Rodney Junior Flenor, 36, both from Los Angeles, California, were seen retrieving the packages before returning to their vehicle.
As law enforcement officers in marked vehicles attempted to stop the suspects, the duo accelerated in an effort to evade capture, ultimately striking a marked Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office SUV. Both suspects were apprehended without further incidents.
Following their arrest, federal complaints were filed against Garner and Flenor for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. They were subsequently transported to the Henderson, Kentucky, Detention Center for processing.
This case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and keep communities safe from the dangers associated with illegal substances.
