Shooting at Oktaha recycling center leaves one dead, another injured; suspect apprehended

A shooting incident at Five Star Recycling in Oktaha, Oklahoma, resulted in one fatality and left another person injured. The Muskogee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) reported that deputies were dispatched to the scene around 5:54 p.m. on March 8.

Upon their arrival, the deputies found a female victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of Muskogee County EMS to provide life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another female victim was also present, having suffered a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services treated her for her injuries on-site.

In the aftermath of the shooting, law enforcement quickly coordinated efforts to locate the suspect. Collaborative work between the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Police, the Muskogee Police Department, and MCSO led to the apprehension of the suspect.
