Police investigating after man dies from gunshot wound in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah -- Authorities are seeking assistance from the public following the fatal shooting of a man early Sunday morning. The West Jordan Police initiated their investigation at approximately 3:45 a.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance in the vicinity of 7900 South 6400 West.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was quickly transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray; however, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
