3 men detained after carjacking leads to police chase

Three men were detained in Memphis after leading police on a chase following a carjacking incident. According to the Memphis Police Department, the events unfolded just after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday when officers responded to a report of a carjacking on Hickory Farms Drive.

Upon arriving at the scene, police broadcasted information about the suspects and began searching the area. They soon located the stolen vehicle and initiated a pursuit of the suspects.

The chase culminated when the responsible party crashed on Hickory Hill Road. Officers managed to apprehend all three men involved in the incident without further incident.

While an officer’s vehicle was struck during the chase, fortunately, no injuries were reported among the officers or the suspects.

The investigation into the carjacking and the subsequent chase remains ongoing.
