Suspected drunk driver arrested, 1 injured in wrong-way crash on Southfield Freeway

A suspected drunk driver was arrested following a wrong-way crash that resulted in one injury on the Southfield Freeway, according to Michigan State Police. The incident occurred early on Sunday, March 9, 2025, when a driver was reported traveling northbound in the southbound lanes near Joy Road in Detroit.
