Authorities in Santa Clarita, California, have released a new photo of a suspect involved in a violent incident at Doc's Inn that left an 84-year-old man hospitalized after a single punch. The incident occurred last week and was captured on security footage, which shows a man in his 20s striking the elderly victim.

According to a bartender at the establishment, the elderly man was a familiar patron, often visiting the bar to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the jukebox. Tragically, the punch resulted in a fractured skull and a brain bleed for the victim. Thankfully, as of Saturday evening, he is no longer in the hospital.

The assault happened shortly after 1 a.m., when a group of four young individuals entered the bar and allegedly attacked the elderly man. Authorities are investigating the motives behind the assault and the identity of the assailant.

In addition to the assault, it appears that the group also vandalized the bar, as evidenced by a smashed window. The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement seeks to hold the responsible parties accountable.

Local community members are disturbed by the incident, particularly due to the unprovoked nature of the attack on a senior citizen. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation.
