Man wanted for attempted murder out of Los Angeles arrested in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man wanted for attempted murder in California was apprehended in Nashville on Friday, according to an arrest affidavit. Michael Valentine, who was facing a full extradition warrant for homicide-related charges out of Los Angeles, was located by detectives.

On March 7, the Metro Nashville Police Department's TITANS unit executed a warrant service for Valentine. The affidavit indicates that they confirmed the warrant prior to taking any action.

Officers successfully arrested Valentine at his residence in the 800 block of Sunset Circle in Nashville. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to apprehend suspects wanted for serious crimes in other jurisdictions.
