Thieves arrested, accused of stealing items from gravesites from cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A fourth suspect, Mark Worley, 32, has surrendered to state police in connection with a series of thefts from a cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware. His arrest follows ongoing investigations into grave site thefts at All Saint Cemetery along Kirkwood Highway.
Worley, along with three other individuals, is accused of stealing approximately 200 vases from gravesites. The value of the stolen vases is estimated to exceed $100,000. The thefts took place over a period spanning from September to November of the previous year.
The law enforcement's investigation led to the earlier arrests of Thomas Hudson, Ashley Newcomb, and Alonza Mosley in February in Newark, Delaware. These individuals were reportedly part of the same theft ring as Worley.
The actions of this group have raised significant concern within the local community, as they targeted a place of rest and remembrance. The thefts have prompted police to increase their efforts in securing cemeteries and protecting memorial sites.
As authorities continue to address this issue, they urge anyone with information regarding cemetery thefts or suspicious activities to come forward. The investigation remains active as police work to ensure that such violations against the community's sacred spaces do not continue.
