Murder-Suicide Involving Man and Woman Under Investigation in Delaware

DELAMR, Del. -- Delaware State Police are investigating a tragic murder-suicide that resulted in two fatalities on Thursday morning in Delmar. The incident occurred on Country Grove Circle, prompting authorities to respond to the scene at around 9:18 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 42-year-old woman with gunshot wounds alongside a 56-year-old man who had a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Both individuals were sadly pronounced dead at the scene, though their identities have not been released pending notification of their families.

The investigation is being led by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit, which has yet to disclose any possible motive or information regarding the relationship between the deceased individuals.
