Delaware State Police investigating drive-by shooting in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. -- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that took place late Thursday night on Atlanta Road in Seaford. The incident occurred around 10:57 p.m., when troopers responded to reports of gunfire striking both a home and a vehicle.
Upon arrival, investigators found that an unknown suspect had fired multiple rounds from an unidentified vehicle before fleeing the scene. Although the residence and a car sustained damage, fortunately, no injuries were reported. At the time of the shooting, eight people, including a child, were inside the home.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation and is focused on identifying the shooter. As the case unfolds, detectives are actively seeking leads related to the suspect and the vehicle involved in the incident.
