A woman was arrested on Wednesday morning after allegedly attempting to rob a bank in Missoula. The incident took place around 10:35 a.m. at a bank located in the 100 block of West Broadway, prompting a quick response from the Missoula Police Department and the Missoula County Sheriff's Office.

Multiple 911 callers alerted authorities of a robbery in progress, and a panic alarm also signaled distress within the bank. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers made contact with the woman in the bank’s lobby.

The woman was taken into custody without incident and is facing charges of Attempted Robbery. Notably, she was unarmed at the time of her arrest, and an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery is underway.
