VIDEO: High-speed chase involving Alaska State Troopers in Wasilla

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A high-speed pursuit took place Thursday along the Parks Highway in Wasilla, involving multiple Alaska State Troopers. Video footage captured the dramatic chase, which included around seven squad cars in action.

While the exact location of the chase was not specified by the troopers, the video suggests it occurred near Wasilla Creek on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. The rapid pursuit raised safety concerns, particularly when patrol cars were seen veering across a nearby pedestrian pathway, nearly colliding with individuals using the path.

Austin McDaniel, Communications Director for the Alaska Department of Public Safety, reported that the chase concluded shortly before 4 p.m. The department is anticipated to release additional details as they become available.
