A woman was severely injured in a hit-and-run incident in Billings early Saturday morning. The accident occurred at 8:32 a.m. in the 2800 block of Manhattan Drive, where a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene.

Billings police responded to the incident and later located the suspect vehicle. Authorities detained three individuals in connection with the hit-and-run.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Kiana Spottedhorse, is now facing charges of assault with a weapon related to the incident.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
