Little Rock police investigating deadly Sunday afternoon shooting
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a man on Sunday afternoon. The LRPD responded to a disturbance call at approximately 1:41 p.m. in the 10000 block of Sibley Hole Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man's body with a gunshot wound. Following the discovery, the area was secured, and homicide detectives were notified to initiate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Authorities have identified 21-year-old Tony Smith Jr. as a suspect wanted for capital murder, although the identity of the deceased man has not been released by officials.
