Human skeletal remains were discovered on Thursday during a search connected to the 2020 disappearance of Amanda Grazewski, a New Hampshire woman. Authorities were investigating an area near Hoodkroft Country Club in Derry after receiving a tip about her case on Wednesday. The investigation, which spanned five years, has been ongoing since Grazewski disappeared without her purse or cellphone on March 17, 2020.

As of now, it remains unclear whether the recovered remains belong to Grazewski. Officials from the attorney general's office indicated that it might take several months for the medical examiner to confirm the identity. Additionally, police reported that no criminal activity was detected at the golf club, and they do not believe there is any threat to the public.

Family members of Grazewski were present during the search but noted they had not received updates from law enforcement throughout the day. Investigators informed the public shortly after 6 p.m. about the skeletal remains' discovery. Derry police were supported by the New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes Unit and New Hampshire Fish and Game during the operation, with plans for further investigation in the area.

Grazewski, who had a history of substance abuse, was known to have spent time in various New Hampshire towns before her disappearance. At the time she went missing, she did not own or have access to a vehicle, which raised concerns about her whereabouts.

Police have dedicated over 1,000 hours to the investigation, employing various methods such as grid searches, drone surveillance, and K-9 units to locate the single mother. The community and the family continue to search for answers in hopes of resolving the case.
