Man arrested after pursuit, fleeing Tolland car crash back in 2024

TOLLAND, Conn. (WFSB) - A Massachusetts man, Edward Contreras Jr., has been taken into custody following an incident that occurred in November 2024 in Tolland. Authorities obtained an arrest warrant for him after he was involved in a police pursuit and subsequently fled the scene of a car crash.

Police located Contreras at a business in Vernon and arrested him for two active warrants related to the November incident.

He is currently facing multiple charges and has been held on a bond amounting to $250,000.

Contreras has been transported to a correctional center, where he will remain until his court appearance, scheduled for March 26.
