Police: Two arrested for drugs in Hazelton, more charges expected

HAZELTON — Jerome County deputies executed a warrant at an apartment building on Railroad Street, leading to the arrest of two individuals and ongoing investigations into additional suspects involved in illegal narcotics activities. According to a press release from the Jerome County Sheriff's Office, the search was part of a broader investigation into drug trafficking and sales from the residence.

At the time the warrant was served, 28-year-olds Gabriel Cunningham and Sarah Doshier were present. Cunningham was arrested on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, as well as for being in a location where illegal substances are typically found. He was subsequently booked into jail under a warrant from his felony probation officer.

Doshier was also taken into custody, facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and being in a location associated with drug activity. The investigation continues, with criminal charges against other individuals connected to this case still pending, according to the sheriff's office.

Witnesses reported that an armored vehicle was called to the scene during the operation, suggesting the seriousness of the situation. Authorities are closely monitoring the developments stemming from this investigation to ensure community safety.
