'What if we killed them?' Records offer glimpses of accused shooters

LAS CRUCES -- Search warrants related to the tragic shootout in Las Cruces on Friday indicate that the teenagers involved may face additional charges for firing weapons near a school and tampering with evidence.
The individuals involved include 17-year-olds Gustavo Dominguez and Nathan Rivas, along with 15-year-old Josiah Ontiveros, all of whom have been charged with three open counts of murder. They are facing these charges alongside 20-year-old Tomas Rivas for the deaths of three individuals at Young Park.
In addition to the murder charges, the juveniles are also being implicated in three counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
These developments highlight the legal consequences the accused may face in the aftermath of the shooting and emphasize the community's concern for safety, especially in proximity to schools.
