Man Wanted in Wyoming Captured in Rural Northeast Colorado Following Month-Long Search
A man wanted in Wyoming was apprehended in rural northeast Colorado on Wednesday after a month-long search, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Tyger Rodriguez, 25, had multiple arrest warrants issued by the Goshen County Sheriff's Office for felony aggravated assault and battery related to incidents from mid-February.
The U.S. Marshals Service became involved on February 27, after it was determined that Rodriguez had left Wyoming and might be in rural northeast Colorado. Through investigative efforts, authorities tracked him to a property located approximately four miles west of Fort Morgan in Morgan County.
On Wednesday, a coordinated law enforcement effort led to Rodriguez's arrest at the identified location. The operation involved collaboration among several agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Colorado Violent Offender Task Force, the Northeast Regional SWAT Team, and the Colorado State Patrol SOAR Team.
Morgan County Sheriff Dave Martin expressed gratitude for the dedication of law enforcement partners that contributed to the successful operation. He also thanked local businesses and citizens who provided assistance during the investigation and arrest.
The capture of Rodriguez marks the conclusion of a significant fugitive search, demonstrating the effectiveness of joint efforts among various law enforcement entities and the community in ensuring public safety.
