Woman arrested after dispute over bikini video

A domestic dispute in Gauley Bridge, WV, resulted in the arrest of a woman for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend. The incident occurred on Jackson Street, prompting a response from the Gauley Bridge Police Department and a Fayette County Deputy Sheriff around 7:43 PM.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with the male victim, who explained that an argument ensued after his girlfriend, Casey Velez, became upset over a video featuring women in bikinis. As he attempted to pack his belongings, Velez allegedly bit him on the hand and scratched his neck, leading to visible injuries that corroborated his story.

Following their investigation, law enforcement determined that Velez's actions constituted unlawful physical contact, defined as domestic battery in an insulting or provoking manner. This assessment resulted in her arrest.

Casey Velez was subsequently taken into custody, processed in Gauley Bridge, and later transported to the Southern Regional Jail.
