Missing Jackson County children found safe after desperate search; father charged with murder

A frantic overnight search for four missing children concluded this morning when they were discovered safe with a relative in Gautier, Mississippi. The children had been missing since their father, Karris Hamilton, 24, allegedly took them following a shooting incident on Wednesday night in the St. Martin area.

Hamilton was arrested around 5 a.m. today by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. He faces serious charges, including murder and domestic violence/aggravated assault, stemming from the shooting that occurred at their home on Santa Fe Avenue.
