Missing children found safe, father arrested in Jackson County - WXXV News 25

Four children who went missing after a shooting in the St. Martin community of Jackson County have been located safe. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Santa Fe Avenue, prompting a response from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
The missing children were identified as seven-year-old Karis Martin, four-year-old Lalina Hamilton, three-year-old Genive Hamilton, and two-year-old Mariah Hamilton. Fortunately, they were found safe at a relative's residence in Gautier.
Their father, Karis Hamilton, was arrested early this morning at approximately 5 AM. He faces serious charges, including murder and domestic violence aggravated assault, in connection with the incident.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the events that led to the children's disappearance.
