HONOLULU (TNND) -- A doctor has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly attempting to kill his wife during a hike in Hawaii. Dr. Gerhardt Konig, 46, was hiking the Pali Puka trail with his wife when the incident occurred. According to Honolulu police, he allegedly attempted to push her off the trail and struck her multiple times on the head with a rock.
