3 dead in apparent murder-suicide at Scottsdale home

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) -- A tragic incident in Scottsdale has left three people dead following an apparent murder-suicide near the Talking Stick Pavilions shopping center. Police received a call for a welfare check at a residence located by Indian Bend Road and Via de La Sendero around 3 p.m. on Wednesday after a concerned coworker reported that they could not reach their employee.
Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with individuals inside the home but were unsuccessful. They conducted a perimeter check, which led them to discover two bodies inside the house, and a third person was found dead in a separate room. All three victims had sustained gunshot wounds.
Detectives and crime scene investigators remained at the scene late into Wednesday night to gather evidence related to the incident.
