Neighbors help domestic assault victim, restrain suspect until deputies arrive in Crawford County

In Crawford County, Missouri, a domestic assault incident on March 21 prompted neighbors to intervene and restrain the suspect until sheriff's deputies arrived. The suspect, 18-year-old Noah Holland, was found being held by witnesses when deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on East Highway 8 in Steelville.

Following the incident, the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office charged Holland with multiple offenses, including second-degree domestic assault, second-degree kidnapping, and resisting arrest. He is currently being held without bond at the Crawford County Jail. According to court documents, Holland assaulted a female victim while they were in a car and forcibly dragged her back to his property when she sought help from a neighbor.
