Drug task force operation in central Nebraska results in multiple drug arrests

A joint operation in central Nebraska led by multiple law enforcement agencies has resulted in the arrest of eight individuals on federal drug charges, alongside the unsealing of several indictments. In addition, five individuals were apprehended on state charges, and various search warrants were executed as part of the operation.
The U.S. Attorney's Office announced a superseding indictment that charges four individuals—Manuel Enrique Corona-Ramirez, Shawn Norris, Trevor Hardin, and Omar Gonzalez-Garcia—with conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine within a specific timeframe from March 1, 2024, to February 5, 2025. If convicted, they face severe penalties, including a minimum of 10 years to life in prison and substantial fines.
Two additional individuals, Reyes Ernesto Garcia-Urquizo and Enrique Martinez, were detained a month prior to this operation. Their conspiracy charge similarly carries the potential for a lengthy prison sentence and significant financial penalties.
Another related indictment has been unsealed, which charges Adelso Saravia and Adriana Zepeda Rivera with conspiracy to distribute over 50 grams of actual methamphetamine from October 3 to November 30, 2024. Like the previous charges, this offense is punishable by 10 years to life in prison, along with heavy fines.
The investigations were conducted by the Cooperative Operations for Drug Enforcement (CODE) Task Force, working alongside federal partners from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Those with information on drug trafficking can report tips to the FBI or the Nebraska Crime Stoppers tipline.
