Maine State Police release hundreds of photos from Lewiston mass shooting investigation

Maine State Police have made public hundreds of photographs taken after the devastating mass shooting in Lewiston in 2023, which resulted in 18 fatalities and 13 injuries. This release, prompted by a public records request, includes aerial shots of the crime scenes and detailed images of the shooter's abandoned vehicle, found at a Lisbon boat launch.

Among the released images are also photographs of the high-powered weapons and ammunition discovered within the car. On Thursday, police shared 800 images, which constitute only a small portion of the over 15,000 photos captured during the extensive investigation.
