Texas man charged with abusive sexual contact on Chicago-to-Seattle flight

A 54-year-old man from Allen, Texas, has been federally charged with abusive sexual contact for allegedly inappropriately touching a fellow passenger during a flight from Chicago to Seattle. The incident came to light after the 22-year-old victim reported that Abraham touched her breast three times during the flight. Following her complaint, she alerted a flight attendant and was subsequently moved to a different seat.
When questioned at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on March 18, 2025, Abraham denied the allegations against him. However, an FBI investigation into his conduct revealed two previous claims of similar misconduct. One victim reported on April 24, 2024, that Abraham had repeatedly touched her and attempted to reach between her thighs.
Another report, dating back to October 9, 2023, involved Abraham being interviewed by Minneapolis Airport Police after a passenger accused him of touching her leg multiple times. In both cases, Abraham maintained his innocence.
Currently, he has been released on bond and is set to appear for a preliminary hearing on April 7, 2025. The crime of abusive sexual contact can carry a maximum sentence of two years in prison.
The FBI is leading the investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Ajay Ravindran appointed to prosecute the case.
