WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A woman has pleaded guilty to all charges related to a hit-and-run incident that resulted in a fatality in New Hanover County in 2023. Hailey Sigg accepted full responsibility for her actions during a court appearance on March 28.

The incident involved the death of UNCW student McGroary "Rory" John Domitrovits, whose family addressed Sigg directly in court. Sigg faces multiple charges, including felony death by vehicle, felony hit and run, driving while impaired, felony possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of an open container in a vehicle.

According to arrest warrants, Sigg admitted to having consumed alcohol when the collision occurred on Eastwood Road, leading to Domitrovits's death.
