Multiple 911 calls lead to arrest of suspected wrong way driver in Torrington

State police in Torrington, CT responded to multiple 911 calls about a wrong way driver on Route 8 early Friday morning. Reports began coming in around 12:30 a.m., indicating that a vehicle was heading south in the northbound lanes near exit 39.
The vehicle in question was identified as a black Honda CR-V. As troopers were dispatched to the scene, one caller informed them that the driver had corrected course and was now traveling in the right direction.
