BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KHBS) -- A Benton County prosecutor announced that David Brian Robinson, an inmate accused of raping a 15-year-old girl, has attempted to report her to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Robinson, 21, was arrested in March 2023 on allegations of sexual assault against the minor.

Robinson initially met the girl in October 2022, claiming to be 16. After their initial communication over social media ceased, he was arrested in November on separate rape charges. Although released on a $250,000 bond in January 2023 with a court order to avoid contact with minors, Robinson allegedly reached out to the girl again in January and later raped her in February.

While incarcerated, Robinson faced additional charges related to his alleged actions. In March 2025, he reportedly made several phone calls attempting to conspire to report the victim to ICE, sharing her personal information in an effort to remove her from the country, according to Deputy Prosecutor Joshua Robinson.

In light of these developments, the prosecutor requested that the judge revoke Robinson’s communication privileges, citing concerns that he was using them to intimidate and obstruct the victim. The judge granted this request, and Robinson’s attorney subsequently withdrew from the case.

Robinson's trial for the charges against him is scheduled to take place on May 13, 2025.
