Woman sentenced in 2023 hit and run that killed UNCW student

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - In a tragic incident from 2023, Hailey Sigg has been sentenced to 82 months in prison following a hit-and-run that claimed the life of UNCW student McGroary "Rory" John Domitrovits. The sentencing took place at the New Hanover County Superior Court after Sigg pleaded guilty to all charges.
