MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio - A 54-year-old man, wanted by the authorities, was arrested on March 21 at around 4 p.m. after being discovered hiding in the Comfort Inn located at 17550 Rosbough Drive. Prior to his arrest, the man had been involved in a vehicle crash and fled the scene, prompting police to seek him out due to existing warrants.

The investigation revealed that the man was an employee at the Comfort Inn and was also staying at the hotel. Although police initially visited his room, he was not present at that time.

Police soon learned that staff members at Comfort Inn had noticed a pattern of the man hiding on the second floor of the hotel. Acting on this information, officers located him in that area.

Upon apprehension, it was confirmed that the man was wanted for a drug-related offense by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office, and he was found to be driving without a valid license.

His arrest marks a significant step in addressing the ongoing issues related to drug offenses in the area, as local law enforcement continues to tackle crime and improve public safety.
