Kentucky manslaughter suspect arrested in Moscow

A Kentucky man wanted for manslaughter was arrested Thursday night in Moscow, Idaho. The suspect, Aaron S. Hypes, was located after law enforcement from Kentucky contacted the Moscow Police Department with information on his whereabouts.
Hypes was wanted in Butler County, Kentucky, on serious charges including manslaughter, trafficking fentanyl, and being a persistent felony offender. Acting on the intelligence received, the Latah County SWAT team was deployed to assist in his capture.
The police tracked Hypes down to North Polk Street near Rodeo Drive off Main Street. At approximately 6:30 p.m., officers successfully apprehended him without any incident.
Following his arrest, Hypes was taken into custody and transported to the Latah County Jail, where he awaits further legal proceedings.
