A man with an outstanding warrant in Butler County was apprehended in Moscow, Idaho, in connection with a fatal overdose. Aaron S. Hypes was arrested on Thursday by the City of Moscow Police Department after a felony warrant was issued against him.

Hypes faces serious charges, including manslaughter, trafficking in fentanyl, and being a persistent felony offender. The police were informed by Kentucky law enforcement that Hypes might be in the Moscow or Latah County area, prompting action.

Due to the heightened risk associated with his apprehension, the Latah County Regional SWAT Team was deployed to assist in the arrest.
