Suspect arrested following deadly hit-and-run crash in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Authorities in Pueblo announced the arrest of a suspect connected to a fatal hit-and-run incident earlier this week. The police responded to reports of a man possibly struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night at approximately 9 p.m. in the 3700 block of Lake Avenue, where they discovered the victim deceased.

Following the incident, investigators were able to locate the suspect and his vehicle by Thursday. Brandon Zullo, 41, has been charged with Hit and Run - Causing Death, as well as Tampering with Evidence.

Details regarding the identity of the victim have not been released at this time.

As of Friday afternoon, Zullo is being held at the Pueblo County Jail with no bond set.

The investigation continues as police work to gather more information related to the crash and the circumstances surrounding it.
