Detectives from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations have made notable advancements in a case of juvenile cruelty, leading to the arrest of Matthew Frost, Brittany Tullis, and Tamiko Paulk. The investigation originated in Lafayette Parish, where a warrant was issued for Tullis, charging her with cruelty to a juvenile and child desertion.

On March 21, 2025, Tullis was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center following the issuance of her arrest warrant by the 15th Judicial District Court. As the investigation continued, authorities uncovered further criminal activities linked to the suspects in Rapides Parish.

Subsequent to these discoveries, arrest warrants for obstruction of justice were secured against both Tullis and Frost through the 9th Judicial District Court. Additionally, Tamiko Paulk, a former deputy with the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, was charged with obstruction of justice and malfeasance in office due to her involvement in the case.

All three suspects—Frost, Tullis, and Paulk—were processed into the Rapides Parish Detention Center between March 27 and March 28, 2025, facing their respective charges. The case has drawn significant attention and remains under active investigation by law enforcement officials.

Authorities are committed to thorough follow-up on this serious matter to ensure justice is served, and further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
