Kentucky manslaughter suspect arrested in Moscow

A suspect wanted for manslaughter in Kentucky was apprehended in Moscow, Idaho, on Thursday evening. The Moscow Police Department received information from law enforcement in Kentucky, indicating that Aaron S. Hypes might be located in the Moscow/Latah County area.
Hypes faces serious charges in Butler County, Kentucky, including manslaughter, trafficking fentanyl, and being a persistent felony offender. Based on this information, local authorities initiated a search for him.
The Latah County SWAT team was deployed to assist in locating Hypes. They successfully found and arrested him without any incident around 6:30 p.m. on North Polk Street, near Rodeo Drive.
Following his arrest, Hypes was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Latah County Jail.
