Man now faces capital murder charges in State Line triple homicide case

GREENE CO., Miss. (WLOX) - Court officials announced on Friday that Drexler Dwight Johnson has been charged with capital murder in connection to a triple homicide that occurred in Greene County on New Year's Day. The 37-year-old was initially charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Johnson now faces three counts of capital murder along with one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. If he is found guilty, he could face severe penalties, including life imprisonment or even the death penalty.
