Police identify 3 killed in apparent murder-suicide at Scottsdale home

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) -- In a tragic incident near the Talking Stick Pavilions shopping center, Scottsdale police report that three individuals have died in an apparent murder-suicide. The names of the victims were released by authorities on Friday following the investigation.

The incident began with a welfare check requested by a concerned coworker who was unable to reach their employee. Police responded to the residence near Indian Bend Road and Via de La Sendero around 3 p.m. on Wednesday and attempted to make contact but were unsuccessful.

Upon inspecting the home, officers discovered two deceased individuals inside, while a third was found in a separate room. All three victims showed signs of having sustained gunshot wounds. As of now, authorities have not disclosed the identity of the shooter.

The investigation continued late into Wednesday night, with detectives and crime scene investigators gathering evidence. On Thursday, police confirmed they do not seek any additional suspects in this case.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death for all three individuals. No further details regarding the incident have been provided at this time.
