The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the public to identify a driver responsible for damaging parked vehicles at Sandcreek Commons in Ammon. Over the past several weeks, this individual has caused significant damage estimated in the thousands of dollars before leaving the scene in a brown Toyota Tundra, likely from the late 1990s to early 2000s.

Sgt. Bryan Lovell reported to EastIdahoNews.com that the same vehicle has been spotted prior to each incident, raising concerns about why this specific location has been targeted. The sheriff's office is keen on gathering more information to steer their investigation.

The damage inflicted on the cars has varied, with most repairs costing a couple of thousand dollars. However, one incident reportedly led to damages between $5,000 and $7,000 due to smashed windows, broken headlights and taillights, and slashed tires.

Lovell noted the randomness of the incidents but urged community members who visit the area to stay vigilant. He encourages anyone with information to reach out to Bonneville County Dispatch at (208) 529-1200.
