MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- U.S. Marshals have apprehended a suspect linked to a drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of a 14-year-old. Authorities are still seeking the last fugitive involved and are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture.

Matthew Valdez was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Friday in Beaverton, Oregon, as part of the investigation into the shooting. Meanwhile, the final suspect, identified as Jose Beltran-Rodriguez, is believed to be associated with the Norteños gang, which has a history of involvement in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking and violent crimes.

The first suspect was taken into custody on March 24 in Richland, where he was charged with first-degree murder. At the time of his arrest, he had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg.

The U.S. Marshals Service is collaborating with the Moses Lake Police Department. They have emphasized the importance of public assistance in locating the final suspect, urging anyone with information to reach out to law enforcement.

The drive-by shooting, which took place on Block Loop Drive, also caused injuries to four other individuals aged 13 to 26, all of whom were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. In connection with the investigation, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Buell Drive.
