Man dies after shooting in Mosby Court

A shooting incident in Richmond's Mosby Court neighborhood on Friday evening has led to the death of a man. The incident occurred on March 28, around 6 p.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Coalter Street.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a local hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Medical Examiner's Office will investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting to establish the cause and manner of death.
